Heart-to-Heart Talks
“Jesus and Nicodemus: Who is Jesus to You?”
March 5, 2023
Please CLICK HERE to download the service notes.
As We Gather Jesus and Nicodemus had a heart-to-heart talk about life, birth, and the Holy Spirit. But the main point was who Jesus was and why He had come. Was He merely a teacher sent by God, or was He the one through whom God gives new birth and eternal life? Who is Jesus to you? We will be celebrating Holy Communion at this service.
Live-stream and in-person worship begin at 9:30 AM. Click at the top of this page to join our YouTube live stream.
We will be streaming on our Facebook Page as well: CLICK HERE
Lent Midweek Service March 8
Forgive: Forgiveness and Justice
We continue our Lent series “Forgive: Why Should We and How Can We?” This week we look at the relationship between forgiveness and justice. When I forgive someone, am I then not to seek justice for what they have done? Does it mean that I am not to point out what has been done? What if the sin against me is a matter of law? Does forgiveness mean that I don’t press charges or pursue civil justice? Next Wednesday, we will look at the truth that forgiveness that flows from the cross of Christ is not opposed to justice, but complements it. We will look at how we are to pursue justice and forgiveness at the same time.
Worship is at 7:00 PM with a soup supper preceding at 6:00 PM in the Parish Hall.
Lent Midweek Service March 15
Christ in the Passover

Come and learn about the meaning of the Passover meal and how it points to Jesus and the cross. Worship is at 7:00 PM with a soup supper preceding at 6:00 PM in the Parish Hall.
All offerings received on March 15 will go to support the work of Jews for Jesus. If you would like to make an offering at another time, or online, please indicate on the memo line or in the “other” designation online that you intend for the offering to support Jews for Jesus.

This week, we will explore selected passages the describe how Satan is at work today, and how we as Christians are to respond. We meet in Room 10 on Sunday at 11:00 AM.
“Romans: Part 2”
Joel Wahlers is leading a study on Paul’s letter to the Romans after worship in Room 8. He will be making use of Right Now Video teaching by J.D. Greear.
Looking Ahead
Easter is April 9th! We will have two services on Easter Sunday, April 9th. Both services will be Communion services.

People who have sung it before are welcome to join the choir on Easter morning to share in the joy of singing this marvelous celebration of Christ’s victory. This service will also be streamed live.
The second service will be at 10:30 AM in the Faith Chapel (weather permitting). The singing for this service will be led by the worship band. This service will be recorded for later posting online.
