Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Celebrating the legacy of this great missionary is not about green beer, but rather living and sharing our faith. Check out this article about St. Patrick.
Live Stream Test: Pastor Mike will be conducting a live stream test tonight at 7:00 PM. We are using Youtube for the streaming. There are two ways to access the live stream
- Youtube Channel https://www.youtube.com/user/stjohnsnapaca/live By the way if you haven’t subscribed to our youtube channel, we encourage you to do so
- Our church’s website. There is a link in the upper right of the main page of the website. This will take you directly to the youtube live: https://stjohnslutheran.net/st-johns-lutheran-church-worship-live-stream/
If you access the live stream directly from youtube, you will be able to participate in live chat. We are considering using this for collecting feedback, questions, and most importantly, thanksgiving and petitions.
Wednesday Lent Service: Our Lent Midweek service will be tomorrow at 7:00 pm. It will not be in the sanctuary but rather in your home. We will be livestreaming through youtube live as well. (Quite obviously, we are not having the soup supper.) The format will be different from what we do in the sanctuary as well.
We continue our series “By His Wounds We Are Healed.” This week: “The Wounds of Murder” Murder? What does that have to do with my life? According to Jesus, very much. Join us tomorrow to engage on this topic.
Meals on Wheels Still Operating: Please note that this service is still up and running. If you are one of our vulnerable people quarantined at home, or you know of someone, a neighbor, another St. John’s person, please keep this in mind and share with those who may need it: http://canv.org/food-nutrition/meals-on-wheels-for-seniors/
Care Team: We are seeking to contact all the people in our St. John’s community, especially those who are vulnerable and staying at home. We want to connect with them and seek ways to assist, support and encourage. If you would like to join this team, let Pastor Mike know.
