St. John’s is planning to continue worship on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings. But if you have a compromised immune system, respiratory difficulty, or are elderly, or if this is true for someone in your home, we ask you to stay home.
But you can still worship.
Bible Reading
There are many resources available for private devotions, and hopefully you are already making use of some. For Bible Reading, one of the best online Bible resources is BibleGateway. If you are reading on a phone or app, check out YouVersion:
Sermons
We do not yet livestream our services, but the sermons are usually available on our St. John’s Youtube channel by early Sunday afternoon, and posted on our St. John’s Website Sermon Page and facebook page shortly thereafter. (And you can always watch a previous sermon that you missed!)
Livestream from other Lutheran Churches
If you want to participate in a livestream service, here are links to a couple of our sister congregations that livestream their Sunday morning services:
We also recommend the resources of Lutheran Hour Ministries.
Hymns and Praise Songs
Many of the traditional hymns we sing at the 8:30 service and nearly all of the contemporary worship songs that we use at the 10:15 service are available on youtube. Many of the songs have versions which display the lyrics so that you can join in worship in singing along.
Here’s a Youtube channel from a church which has placed online many of the hymns from the Lutheran Service Book, with congregational singing and words.
Prayers
If you have a prayer request, please use the prayer request page on the St. John’s website to pass along your prayer request for worship.
Offfering
You can worship the Lord with your offering online by clicking here and clicking the “donate online” button.

Thank you so much for the message. I have a compromised immune system so I will see you soon!
In Christ,
