Hebrews: Jesus is Better
“A Better Sanctuary”
October 16, 2022
Please CLICK HERE to download the service notes.
As We Gather
Are you certain of your salvation? Are you confident of God’s grace? The section of Hebrews that we have been considering these past few weeks is all about the reasons for our confidence and comfort in the salvation we have in Christ. We have seen how we can be confident because Jesu is a “Better High Priest,” who has brought about a “Better Covenant.”
Today we consider that this High Priest serves at a Better Sanctuary. The earthly sanctuary in Jerusalem is a signpost pointing to Christ – to His priesthood and to His offering for our salvation.
What does it mean that Jesus serves at a heavenly sanctuary of which the earthly one was only a preview? How does that bless us today and give us confidence in our salvation?
Live-stream and in-person worship begin at 9:30 AM. Please CLICK HERE to download the link to the live-stream itself.
We will be streaming on our Facebook Page as well: CLICK HERE .
