Epiphany
“Guided by the Lord”
As We Gather
We celebrate Epiphany, the revealing of Jesus the Christ as the Savior of the whole world, both Jew and Gentile. Through a star, Scripture, and a dream God guided the Magi to Jesus to worship Him, give Him gifts, and protect Him from Herod. Oddly, Herod and the religious leaders seem clueless about the birth of the Messiah. How is our awareness of the Lord’s leading? Are we always mindfully of the Holy Spirit’s guiding?
Worship will be live stream at 9:30 AM. Please go to this page (https://stjohnslutheran.net/live-streaming-worship-at-st-johns/ to download the handout, and to link to the live stream itself. We will be streaming on our Facebook Page as well: https://www.facebook.com/sjlcnapa
