“Race and Grace”
Worship for June 21: Loving My Neighbor – in Word and Deed
We continue our series, “Race and Grace.” Last week we saw in the parable of the Good Samaritan Jesus call to love our neighbor regardless of all boundaries. We talked about how that begins with listening to our neighbor and seeking to understand.
This Sunday we take it a step further. What are we to say? What are we to do? How can we be agents of reconciliation, seeking racial harmony, as well as harmony in other areas in which people are divided. We will hear from the same people interviewed by Pastor Mike last week on this topic. Most importantly, we will hear from the Lord’s Word. May the Lord empower and lead us as His followers to be instruments of peace.

The Lord’s Supper will be celebrated on June 21

Streaming from the Sanctuary on June 21
The service this Sunday will be streamed from the Sanctuary. We are conducting a soft opening on June 21 with a small group of people from the reopening task force, worship volunteers and staff. We are using this Sunday to try out the procedures which the Reopning Task Force came up with. Watch for announcements next week regarding in person worship beginning on June 28.

Thank you, we are interested in what others are doing.
