Sharing Jesus
On Pentecost Sunday, we celebrate and commemorate the sending of the Holy Spirit upon the disciples, empowering them to proclaim the resurrected Jesus to the people of Jerusalem. By the power of the Holy Spirit, they were transformed from being afraid, to bold, from hiding behind a locked door, to standing before huge crowds. The same Holy Spirit is at work in the hearts and lives of the people of God today, for the same purpose. May the Holy Spirit empower us to share Jesus in our lives today.
