Proclaiming Good News
Epiphany is about Jesus shining forth into the world as Savior. He shines forth as savior to the nations, pictured in the adoration of the Magi. He shines forth in His baptism, proclaimed by the Father to be His beloved Son. Today we see Him shine forth in overcoming an unclean spirit. He is the light that overcomes all that is evil and wicked in our world, triumphing over all darkness by the brilliance of His cross and resurrection.

Epiphany means to shine. During Epiphany we celebrate Christ shining forth to the nations. But we also celebrate Christ shining forth in our lives. He shines to the nations through us. How is He calling us to grow in shining His light this year?
