Joining Jesus on His Online Mission
We conclude our series “Better Together: Into the World” today. We have been focusing on how we Jesus has called us together to join Him on His mission. We are not only better together with each other. We are also better together with those in our families, neighborhoods and beyond who have yet to come to faith in Jesus. This includes our witness online, our presence on social media and all the ways in which technology today can be used by God for ministry. How can you be an online witness for Jesus today?

The church is better together, but not for the purpose of becoming an inward-focused club. We are better together not just for the sake of our own growth. We are better together for the world, for sake of the people beloved by Jesus who do not yet know Him as Savior. In John 17:21, Jesus prayed for all His followers, including us today, “that all of them may be one, Father, just as You are in Me and I am in You. May they also be in Us so that the world may believe that You have sent Me.” We follow our “Better Together” series these next three weeks by focusing on how Jesus has called us together to join Him on His mission. We are not only better together with each other. We are also better together with those in our families, neighborhoods, and beyond who have yet to come to faith in Jesus.
