In Your Hearing
The Gospel is good news, not good advice. The Gospel is an announcement of what God has done and is doing. Jesus brought good news into a synagogue and announced that the Word of God was fulfilled in their hearing. God’s good news to us is fulfilled in our hearing as well. May the Word of the Lord bless us all as we hear it today. Today we also give God thanks and praise for the ministry of Janis King as we mark her retirement from her position as Preschool Director and Children’s Ministry Director. God be praised for His work in and through her, bringing His good news to so many children and families!
