In the Image of the Triune God
This past year has been hard on relationships. Not only because of the stress brought on by the pandemic and the resulting restrictions, but also because we have been limited in our ability to be together. We have been challenged in living out our calling to love our neighbor. Today is Trinity Sunday. The doctrine of the Trinity, that God is one and God is three, may seem far removed the struggle to live in relationship. But such is not the case. God’s triune nature says much to us who are made in His image, not only about the importance of relationships, but also the power and strength to live out our relationships in a way that reflects the God whose essence is love.
