A Calling God
The cross is not only the emblem of the death of Christ. It is also the shape of the life to which we are called. Jesus calls us to take up our own cross if we desire to follow Him as His disciples. The life of a disciple is not a life of passivity, but rather active cross-bearing for the sake of the Kingdom.
