As We Gather
Jesus says that when the Holy Spirit comes, He will teach us all things and remind us of what He has said. What does this mean? What is the purpose of the Holy Spirit’s teaching and how does He carry it out? May God bless each of us today as we learn from the Holy Spirit’s teachings.
Live-stream and in-person worship begin at 9:30 AM. Please CLICK HERE to download the link to the live-stream itself.
We will be streaming on our Facebook Page as well: CLICK HERE .
Sunday Bible Class
Intersection of Church and State
In Matthew 22:21 Jesus said, “Give back to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.” What is the relationship between church and state, and what does it mean for us who are citizens of both? What does the Bible say? What does our nation’s constitution say? Is America a Christian nation, and what difference does it make how we answer?
In this four week class beginning this Sunday, June 5, Pastor Mike we will explore these issues and more. We will be making use of a video course by Rev. Greg Seltz, former Lutheran Hour Speaker and now director of the Lutheran Center for Religious Liberty. We will meet in Room 10 at 11:00. Click here for a preview from Pastor Seltz

Joining Jesus
Navigation Zoom with Rev. Greg Finke on June 9
Over the next several months, each of us will have the chance to take part in a “Navigation Zoom” with Rev. Greg Finke. The follow up Navigation Zooms are designed to help us receive the encouragement, coaching, and accountability we need to help us “navigate” the process of joining Jesus throughout the next six months.
The first St. John’s Navigation Zoom will be on Thursday evening, June 9, at 6:30 PM. Over the next several months, we will continue to offer these zoom session on the second Thursday of the month at 6:30 pm. The Zoom session will last between 40-45 minutes.
Rev. Finke will take a few minutes at the beginning to encourage and invite stories of what has been happening in our lives on mission. He will then provide coaching and lead a discussion on the next steps for the weeks ahead. The Navigation Zooms will be recorded so those who are absent can catch up at a later time.
To join the Navigation Zoom on June 9, please CLICK HERE on Thursday, June 9 at 7:00 PM.
