This Week’s Memory Verse
And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit, who lives in you. ~Romans 8:11
Our series on Romans concludes Sunday as we focus on the latter half of Romans 8. Paul pulls together all that he has said about the amazing grace that God has for us and the incredible gift of love that flows from that grace. Nothing in the present world nor anything to come can ever undo or separate us from the amazing love of the God of amazing grace.
Today we also observe “Christ the King” Sunday, the last Sunday in the church year, celebrating our Lord as King of all. We look forward with hope to His coming in glory and the coming of the Kingdom in all its fullness.
