This Week’s Memory Verse
Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day He visits us. ~1 Peter 2:12
As We Gather
We continue our series on 1 Peter, a letter written to encourage people seeking to live their faith in a culture that opposed them. In today’s section Peter calls on his readers to be prepared for opportunities to share with others the reasons for the hope that they have. Are we prepared? Are we ready to share with others our hope? How can we as a church help each other be prepared? Today we focus on Peter’s call to be prepared, and how we as a congregation can help answer this call.
