This Week’s Memory Verse
But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander. ~1 Peter 3:15-16
This Sunday: Jesus has been sent by His Father on a grand adventure to redeem and restore human lives to His kingdom. Jesus is already at work in our neighborhoods, workplaces, and schools. He is actively involved in His mission in the lives of the people around us. And He invites us to join Him. Are we ready for this? What do we need to do in order to be ready to join Jesus on His mission? This week and next week, we will focus on practices to make daily habits as we join Jesus in His mission.
