This Week’s Memory Verse
Now to Him who is able to do immeasurable more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever! Amen. ~Ephesians 3:20-21
This Sunday we continue our Epiphany series “Why Give?” God calls us to be “givers,” not “getters.” Why should our hearts be set on giving? This series is focused on answering that question. You are also encouraged to pick up a copy of the devotion book, “Why Give?”, which is available in the church entryway.
When we give we are furthering the mission of the Church, especially when our giving leads to making more disciples. Disciples are givers, and so our giving is further multiplied for the Kingdom.
First Reading: Exodus 36:1-6
Second Reading: 2 Corinthians 9:6-15
Holy Gospel: Matthew 28L16-20
