This Week’s Memory Verse
That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh. ~Genesis 2:24
As We Gather
In marriage two distinct people are joined together in a covenant of love. What does this mean? How is it an expression of the will and love of God? Today we look at the essence of marriage. The heart of marriage is love. But what is love? Am I more focused on feelings of love or acts of love? Do I approach marriage as a consumer? Or as a covenant partner?
