Live Stream Worship on Sunday at 9:30 AM
Worship for August 23: “Look Up!”
Where does our help come from? This question, posed by Psalm 121, is an important question for us all in these days of uncertainty and change. Psalm 121 clearly points to the “maker of heaven and earth” as our help. The Psalmist goes on to speak comforting promises about the God who watches over and protects us.
Our theme for the 2020-2021 school year at St. John’s is “Look Up!” based on Psalm 121:1. This verse calls us to “look up,” to lift our eyes in spite of all the changes and challenges that might drag us downward. We look up to the Lord and find our help!
