This Week’s Memory Verse
I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in Me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing. ~John 15:5
As We Gather
Today we enter the “forgiving” week of the Red Letter Challenge. We have been graciously forgiven by our loving God. Jesus our Savior took our sins upon Himself on the cross, and has given us forgiveness as a free gift of His grace, received by faith. As forgiven people, we are called to be forgiving to others. We are called to take to heart the words in the Lord’s prayer “Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.”
First Reading Jeremiah 31:31-34
Psalm Psalm 130
Second Reading Colossians 3:12-17
Gospel Matthew 18:21-35
Children’s Church: Ramona Kaufmann, Savannah Austin, Scott Zimmerman
