This Week’s Memory Verse
You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. ~2 Corinthians 9:11
As We Gather
All of the gospels end with Jesus sending His disciples into the world to bring the good news of His victory to all. We are blessed with this same privilege, invited into this same partnership, tasked with this same mission. Where is Jesus sending you and me to go this week?
Sunday is also Reformation Sunday. We praise God as we celebrate the Good News that we are saved by grace through faith because of what Jesus has done. This is the message that we are to “go” into all the world to proclaim.
First Reading Genesis 12:1-3
Psalm 67
Second Reading 1 Peter 3:15-16
Gospel Matthew 28:16-20

Social Media at St. John’s… St. John’s and its ministries stay in contact with the community in many ways, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and our own websites. It takes a lot of effort to keep the websites up to date and to keep the communication current and flowing on social media. The social media team is all volunteer and we could use a few more tech-savvy people to help us out. If you are a fan of social media and would like to help us communicate to our members, parents, students, and community, we could use your help. Contact us by email: sjlcsocialmedia@gmail.com
Also, if you have something you’d like to see us talk about or promote on social media, please use the same contact info.
