Hand in Hand
The Scriptures have much to say about the hand of God. All creation was made by His hand. Redemption comes because of His mighty righty hand. He holds us in His hand and guides us by His hand. But above all, the hands of God are the hands stretched out on the cross, pierced by nails, for our salvation. In Isaiah 41:13, the Lord says, “For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.” Our Lord calls to us in our fears and takes us by the hand. “Hand in Hand” is the St. John’s Lutheran School theme for the 2022-2023 School year. We celebrate the start of a new school year today, praying God’s blessings upon our school community and rededicating our staff.
