Hebrews: Jesus is Better
“A Better Offering”
October 23, 2022
Please CLICK HERE to download the service notes.
As We Gather
As Christians, we make offerings to the Lord. We offer Him our time in service, our treasure for His glory. We offer Him our praise and our prayer. But we do not make offerings for sin and guilt. Jesus’ offering of Himself is an act of grace that removes from us forever the need to appease God for our guilt. Today we focus on the offering that Jesus made for us as our High Priest, and what it means for us today.
What does it mean that Jesus serves at a heavenly sanctuary of which the earthly one was only a preview? How does that bless us today and give us confidence in our salvation?
Live-stream and in-person worship begin at 9:30 AM. Please CLICK HERE to download the link to the live-stream itself.
We will be streaming on our Facebook Page as well: CLICK HERE .
We celebrate Holy Communion at this service.
Sunday Bible Classes
Foundations: Basic Christian Teachings
Pastor Mike is leading a nine-session overview of the basic teachings of the Christian Faith on Sundays at 11:00 AM in Room 10. This class is an opportunity to grow in understanding what it means to follow Jesus, and to learn about what it means to be part of our faith community.
This week’s session is the first of several on living the Christian Life as we focus on the Holy Spirit, the Church, and the Bible.
