Heart-to-Heart Talks
“How Well Does Jesus Know Us?”
March 12, 2023
Please CLICK HERE to download the service notes.
As We Gather
In our Lent Sunday worship series, “Heart-to-Heart Talks,” we will look at six conversations with Jesus, and what is revealed that speaks to our relationship with Jesus today.
Jesus encounters a Samaritan woman at a well and begins a conversation with her. In the course of that conversation, He shows that He knows her and her life quite well. And this leads to her being offered and receiving living water. Jesus knows us as well. He knows the ups and downs, the good and the bad of our lives. Is this frightening? Or is this good news? How well does Jesus know us, and what does this mean?

Sunday Bible Classes
“Digging Deeper: The Woman at the Well”
Pastor Mike’s Bible class will dig deeper into the Gospel reading for this Sunday, John 4, the account of Jesus’ encounter with a Samaritan woman at a well. What does this incident reveal about Jesus? We will look at Jesus’ relationship with women, with non-Jews, and how He draws people to the truth, and what that means for us today. We meet in Room 10 on Sunday at 11:00 AM.
“Romans: Part 2”
Joel Wahlers is leading a study on Paul’s letter to the Romans after worship in Room 8. He will be making use of Right Now Video teaching by J.D. Greear.
