This Week’s Memory Verse
Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
Colossians 3:13
As We Gather This Lent, we are invited to go on the 40 day journey once again. Although we will be reading the same devotions and pursuing the same challenges, our Sunday worship will take a different direction, a Lent direction. Discipleship is all about following and imitating Jesus. So we will focus on Jesus as He approaches the cross, and we will see in Him the blessing and challenge of the five targets of the Red Letter Challenge: Being, Forgiving, Serving, Giving, Going.
Sunday’s focus is “Serving.” Jesus came to serve, offering Himself as our Savior. The foundation of our identity and faith is the service of our Savior. He continues to serve us today by forgiving our sins, hearing and answering our prayers, and providing for our needs. His service to us enables us to serve others in His name. How is Jesus calling you to serve?

Lent Midweek Service: The Wounds of Murder. We continue our series “By His Wounds We Are Healed.” In this service, we remember that the wounds of murder and violence we committed against our Lord were laid on Christ on the cross. Our Lenten observance reminds us that though we have been brought low by sin, our Lord will bless us with new life in him through the cross. Service at 7:00 pm.
