Trinity Sunday
“Beyond Understanding”
June 12, 2022
Please CLICK HERE to download the service notes.
As We Gather
God is beyond understanding. God is not just a person with super-powers, but rather a being totally different and beyond us. The doctrine of the Trinity itself reminds us that God is beyond what our minds can fathom. And yet God has come near to reveal Himself to us, not just for our understanding, but more importantly, for our salvation. This Sunday we celebrate and praise our Triune God, who has saved us and is with us.
Live-stream and in-person worship begin at 9:30 AM. Please CLICK HERE to download the link to the live-stream itself.
We will be streaming on our Facebook Page as well: CLICK HERE .
Joining Jesus
Navigation Zoom with Rev. Greg Finke on June 9
The first “Navigation Zoom” with Pastor Greg Finke is today, Thursday June 9, at 6:30 PM. Here’s the link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89777795685
As Pastor Finke mentioned at the workshop and on Sunday May 15, the follow up Navigation Zooms are designed to help us receive the encouragement, coaching, and accountability we need to help us “navigate” the process of joining Jesus throughout the next six months. The Zoom session will last between 40-45 minutes.
Rev. Finke will take a few minutes at the beginning to encourage and invite stories of what has been happening in our lives on mission. He will then provide coaching and lead a discussion on the next steps for the weeks ahead. The Navigation Zooms will be recorded so those who are absent can catch up at a later time.
Congregational Meeting on June 12
The annual budget and election meeting will be on Sunday, June 12, after worship in the sanctuary. We will be considering and adopting a “Ministry Plan and Budget” for the 2022-2023 fiscal year. Please click here for the “Proposed Ministry Plan and Budget 2022-2023.”
We will also be electing people to fill five positions on the Board of Directors. There are eight nominees for the five positions. Please click here for information on the slate of nominees: “Information on the Nominees for the Board of Directors 2022”
Abortion: What does the Bible Say
Pastor Mike’s Bible Class on May 29 focused on abortion, sanctity of life and our bodies. The class was recorded and can be viewed here: https://youtu.be/dbBBjlhqKGw

No Bible Study Class This Sunday
Pastor Mike’s Bible Class will not meet this Sunday because of the Congregational Meeting. The study of Church and State will resume on June 19.
