As We Gather
Jesus promises that the Father will give whatever we ask in His name. But what does that mean? What does it mean to ask in His name? How do we live and pray in this promise. Today we look at these and other words of Jesus regarding prayer as we explore the common myths and solid truths about the gift of prayer.
Live-stream and in-person worship begin at 9:30 AM. Please CLICK HERE to download the link to the live-stream itself.
We will be streaming on our Facebook Page as well: CLICK HERE .
Rev. Greg Finke Workshop Follow-Up
Last Saturday, Rev. Greg Finke led us in a workshop about joining Jesus on His mission. Moving forward, we will be focusing on and applying the practices and recommendations that he highlighted. Watch for upcoming invitations to participate in special zoom sessions, as well as making use of other online resources to help us grow as partners on Jesus’ mission.
If you were unable to attend the workshop, you can still benefit from working through the handout that he shared. Please CLICK HERE to download the workshop handout.
Open Forum May 22
We will have an open forum after worship on Sunday, May 22 to review and discuss the proposed Ministry Plan and Budget for 2022-2023. This is more than going over the numbers; this is about looking at our shared ministry and where it’s going in the next year. You may download the “Proposed Ministry Plan and Budget” here. The open forum will take place in the sanctuary.
Congregational Meeting on June 12
The annual budget and election meeting will be on Sunday, June 12, after worship in the sanctuary. We will be considering and adopting a “Ministry Plan and Budget” for the 2022-2023 fiscal year. We will also be electing people to fill five positions on the Board of Directors.
