Please disregard the previous Evine today.
There is no live stream worship tonight. Sorry for the confusion! We’re trying the best that we can to keep you informed, but sometimes mistakes happen and the wrong button gets pushed! Sorry!
Live Stream Worship This Sunday at 9:30 AM
We will have one live streamed service this Sunday at 9:30 AM. Because of the shelter at home, we won’t be streaming from the Sanctuary at all, but rather Pastor Mike’s living room. But that’s appropriate because the worship will truly be happening in your living room, or wherever you are when you join in.
This will be a highly interactive worship service, very unlike our normal Sunday morning, making use of Live Chat so that we can react, interact, and provide thanksgiving and prayer. It is important in this time of separation that we stay connected – with our Lord and with one another. Joining with your brothers and sisters at St. John’s for worship is an important part of making this happen in your life
Please go to this page on our website for more information on taking part in worship, as well as information regarding the service this Sunday. (https://stjohnslutheran.net/live-streaming-worship-at-st-johns/)

Thank you for all the resources. I enjoyed being able to see the Weds night service live streamed. The only comment I would make about the Live Chat would be that it would be good if somehow that could be a little more structured about when it (live chat) could happen? I found myself distracted from the message or service at times . I dont know if you are able to open it up at possibly at just prayer times and greeting possibly before and after service but not during the time Pastor is speaking?

At the bottom of the chat window, there is a button that says “hide chat.” If you click on that the chat stream disappears, and there will be a button at the top that says “show chat.” So you can hide and show the chat as you like.
