Live Stream Worship This Sunday at 9:30 AM
Please go to this page for information about worship tomorrow. (https://stjohnslutheran.net/live-streaming-worship-at-st-johns/) This will be an interactive worship service making use of Live Chat so that we can react, interact, and provide thanksgiving and prayer. It is important in this time of separation that we stay connected – with our Lord and with one another. Joining with your brothers and sisters at St. John’s for worship is an important part of making this happen in your life
Following Jesus From Home
We are gathering resources and links for individuals, children, teens, and families for your use during this time of shelter at home. If you know of resources that would be good to share, let us know! Click on this link to go to the page on our website: https://stjohnslutheran.net/following_jesus_at_home/
Staying Connected, Supporting Each Other
- Do you need help? If there is any way in which the St. John’s community can be of help to you, please let us know. We have people who can bring groceries and supplies, or help in other ways
- Can you offer help? Consider joining our care team. The Care team is checking in with people in our St. John’s family. We can also help each other informally by just contacting one another and encouraging one another in the Lord.
How to make your offering: Since we aren’t meeting in the sanctuary, we aren’t passing any offering plates. You can still worship the Lord with your tithes and offerings in a couple of ways.
- Click on this link to go to the online giving page on our website: https://stjohnslutheran.net/give/
- You can also mail your offering to the church at 3521 Linda Vista, Napa, CA 94558. The church office is closed, but we are checking the mail.
Principal Call: Our principal call committee is at work seeking the Lord’s will regarding the call of our next principal. Please keep this committee and the process in your prayers. If you would like to suggest a name for the committee’s consideration, please forward the name to Pastor Mike (pastormike@stjohnslutheran.net).
Lent Midweek Service: Our Lent service this Wednesday will be live streamed at 7:00 PM. We continue our series “By His Wounds We Are Healed.” We will be focused on “The Wounds of Adultery.” We heard last week how Jesus unpacked the murder commandment, This week we hear how he also unpacked the adultery commandment in a rather convicting way. But thanks be to God that Jesus has borne the wounds for all our sins, and by His wounds, we are healed.
