Grace and peace in Jesus!
The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer;
my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge,
my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. (Psalm 18:2)
We have good news regarding the Sanctuary. We had an inspection by a civil engineer yesterday, and a structural engineer today. All together five hours of inspection of our campus. The bottom line is that our campus, including the Sanctuary is safe. We will be receiving a complete inspection report including recommendations regarding items to be addressed.
But the big news is that the Sanctuary is safe and that we will be able to worship there this Sunday!!!
We have received word of some housing needs for people who have had to move out of their homes.
- A couple is in need of temporary housing. The husband is disabled and so there is a need for accessible accommodations.
- A single man is also in need of temporary housing.
If you are able to help out, please let the church office know and we will connect you with the families to work out details.
We expect to receive more of these kinds of requests and to become aware of more such needs!
If you are able interested and able to provide temporary housing for a person or family who have been displaced from their home because of a yellow or red tag, please let us know and we will facilitate connecting you with a family or person in need.
Once again, I want to encourage us all to pass on to us any news regarding ways in which we can serve and be a blessing. Whether it’s need for emotional support, spiritual care, basic necessities, housing, or financial assistance. We are called to be the hands and feet of Christ to be a blessing to our community in its time of need.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7)
