This Week’s Memory Verse
Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. ~1 Peter 4:10
As We Gather
In Galatians 3:28, Paul points out that because of the Gospel, “There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” And yet there are places in the Bible that some view as devaluing women. What do we make of this? How do we apply the timeless truths of Scripture regarding men and women from one cultural context into our own?
We will also be welcoming new members this Sunday.
First Reading Judges 4:1-10
Psalm 131
Second Reading Galatians 3:26-29
Gospel Matthew 28:1-10

COFFEE HOUR
Have you missed the coffee hour between services? We would like to offer it again, but we need at least 8 teams to do this. This is a hospitality ministry, welcoming to visitors and a time of fellowship for our members.
Please prayerfully consider volunteering (1) one time every two months so this ministry may continue. God Bless you to be a blessing to others.
Please contact Susan Clark @email saclarknd@gmail.com or call 253-2477.

Confirmation Ministry at St. John’s is a two-year program for those going into 7th or 8th grade. The purpose of the ministry is to disciple junior high students at this important time in their lives, and to prepare them for High School as Christian young men and women.
