This Week’s Memory Verse
He told them, “This is what is written: The Christ will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, and repentance and forgiveness of sins will be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. ~Luke 24:46-47
This Sunday: Jesus had compassion on the people because He saw them as “sheep without a shepherd.” He is the Good Shepherd who lays down His life for His sheep and takes it up again. As comforting as this message is to us, it also reminds us that we have a calling to proclaim this Good Shepherd to those around us so that they may know His love, care, mercy, and peace.
