This Week’s Memory Verse
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” ~John 16:33
As We Gather
It has been a difficult week here in Napa County and for our neighbors in Sonoma County and elsewhere. It has been a difficult year in our world. So much loss and devastation, so much hurt and grief. And yet, we boldly confess Jesus as the Savior who has overcome and is with us in the fire (Isaiah 43:3). We find comfort and hope in our Lord’s words to His disciples before He went to the cross: “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)
